Fall Fun
I love taking pictures of different things. When traveling I love to take pictures of different buildings, the setting sun, honestly anything that catches my eye. But lately I have been obsessed with taking pictures of my little Leo. When he was first born I had some professional photos taken of him, but as all newborns do he changed from day to day. Of course I took the little blanket photos that showed how he changed from month to month, but then I found myself living in a Pandemic like the rest of the world and I was determined to not lose out on milestone, birthday and any other holiday pictures. So I decided to take them myself.
I am in no way a professional photographer, I also don’t have a fancy camera or access to editing software (and even if I did I probably wouldn’t know how to use any of it). So I just take my little one, go out to a fun spot and pull out my cell phone (iPhone user here). Last year I took him to our local college campus for some fun fall photos that we ended up using on Christmas cards! I took a change of shirt and just let him play around in the leaves.
Takeaways:
Have someone with you who can make your little one laugh
Allow them to just play around and explore their surroundings, I get the best pics that way
Find a spot prior to the day you’re taking pictures so you know exactly what to expect
