McCall’s Pumpkin Patch
What’s more festive than a pumpkin patch in October? Not much comes to my mind, and McCall’s Pumpkin Patch in Moriarty, NM will leave you will all of the fall feels! This was my first time visiting McCall’s and let me tell you…WOW! McCall’s opens the last weekend in September and stays open through Halloween. There is something for every age, and honestly more things to do than you can cover in a day! (They even have a haunted farm for those older thrill seeking kids and it’s rated one of the TOP haunted attractions in the country!)
We started off the day with a hayride to the pumpkin patch, the kids walked around and picked the pumpkins they wanted to take home. We carried them back to the hayride pick up spot and then used wheel barrels to transport them to our car. They charge by size, and for 4 LARGE pumpkins the total was $20! I thought this was super affordable considering it took two wheel barrels to get them to our SUV and it made for a fun memory for the kids!
Next stop was the jumping area, they have two different areas one for little ones and another for older kids, they had a blast bouncing around! We went and saw animals, watched kids on the pedal kart track and went into a princess castle. After all of the excitement we stopped for food. They have all of the best food your fall loving heart can dream of. From turkey legs and ribbon fries to green chile mac & cheese and even an apple cider slush they cover it all! The adults shared grilled cheese sandwiches and tried some green chile mac & cheese while the little ones feasted on chicken strips and corn dogs. Don’t forget the fresh squeezed lemonade, my favorite hands down!
We walked off all of our food and let the kids play on the spiderweb and giant slides before we decided to call it a day. On our way to the parking lot we stopped for churros and water for the drive home! McCall’s Pumpkin Patch will be a yearly stop on my family’s to do list from here on out!
