The Big 2!

Another year, and another birthday celebrated during a global Pandemic. There are definitely things I don’t want Leo remembering from this time, the anxiety, stress and uncertainty of COVID being most of it, but I do want him to be able to look back and see pictures and videos from now and see that we did all we could to make it all seem normal.

His birthday celebration was construction themed this year. He loves dirt, trucks and every time we see a digger he makes sure you know it. This party was going to be a smaller one, just a few friends and family, some burgers and hotdogs and cake. Then it spiraled into another big birthday blowout! We changed the menu from things on the grill to a brisket which was honestly easier to make, just leave it and forget it. I made some sides, and of course his birthday cake.

Decorations were from Amazon and the Dollar Tree and I took the liberty of having a mini photo shoot on some equipment that was parked on a lot that my family owned. All in all we had a wonderful time building memories with this little construction loving boy!
